It's a very long article, but worth the read. It makes me think about how a whole generation of people grew up with lead poisoning. It also reminds me of "forever chemicals", like PFAS, and mercury poisoning.
As a society, we have a serious problem with polluting our Earth. I hope that in the future we will be able to clean up our mess (hopefully with advanced technology).
"Microplastics are accumulating in human brains at alarming rates, with concentrations rising 50% in the past eight years. Researchers found plastic fragments as small as 200 nanometers, possibly interfering with brain function."
