A lot of what you may be referring to may be in connection to the fact that this base exists. Hi, I have just finished rereading this book. I had read it probably 5+ years ago, but I noticed it is free on Amazon Kindle.
I believe it is a channeled story through Suzanne Lie. It details the story of Mytria and Mytre, two Pleiadean beings who fall in love. Their life journeys are not only intertwined, but also with the Ascension of their Pleiadian planet, Alycone. In the beginning of the book, Mytria says that she is a higher expression of the author, Suzanne.
The first part of the book follows Mytria and the unfolding of her life path as a keeper of the Violet Flame on Alycone. Later, the book follows Mytre's perspective, and his time on board an Arcturian Mothership. He is a commander in the Ashtar command.

I was going to say, at the end of the book, it has some very "deep" or more technical parts on how the Arcturian mothership operates. It also follows Mytre's mental / psychological journey during that time, and it can be a little challenging to read / understand.

It is quite impressive what you are doing there on planet Earth at this time. You are moving from a lot of darkness into a lot of light, and you are doing so while experiencing a lot of pain, a lot of hardships, and many of you entered into these lives with many disadvantages. You actually wanted to see how far you could go in a single lifetime, which is why you were born into the circumstances that you were. You were born into that density and that dimension, knowing that there would be a lot of energies, a lot of thought forms and beliefs around that would be very enticing for you to play in and try on for size.
And of course, all of you have to some extent, because these energies cannot be ignored completely. Now you have gotten to the place in your spiritual evolution where you recognize that you do not have to continue to play in these energies. You do not have to continue to operate on beliefs that are not serving you. However, the tricky part for those of you who are awake is not condemning that which you have grown from. Once you rise up out of the muck and the mire of the lower frequency energies, it is quite tempting to go back and try to snuff all of that out.
It is tempting to at least condemn that which you have seen does not work. And it does not work for anyone who wants to lead a happy, empowered life that is fulfilling and satisfying. Those energies do work to give someone a contrasting experience. They work to give someone else something to rise up out of, and therefore they must be allowed. You must allow them to continue to exist, and it can be the hardest part of the journey of an awakened person to not look back. In order to graduate to the next level, you have to be able to bless the level that you are leaving. Even though you know that someone else would benefit greatly from joining you in the light, sometimes you have to let those people play in the dark a little bit longer because somehow it is serving them. Letting go of the past is something that most of you are still working on.

Okay, this is just my opinion and interpretation on the topic and his answer.
TL;DR: I think the video is fake, but the information is probably close to accurate, if we consider Ryokah's answer. However, just because he says it's "authentic" it doesn't mean that we are going to experience any negative timelines. This is just a way for us to safely explore a potential negative timeline that we collectively are not on.

For me, I think the best to view the video is without sound. If you take the transcript of what is said, then it makes it more watchable, and easier to dissect.
The being appears to be a Grey type of extraterrestrial. He says that he evolved from humans, but is not able to reproduce with humans, so he is considered a new species.
From my interpretation, he is saying that the universe evolved from randomness, and that there is no "Creator."
The being says, "This universe is a spontaneous event and inevitable within the eternity of existence. Every event can, will, and has happened. Including this universe. There are an infinite number of universes, and ours happens to have life and consciousness evolve in it. Meaning is something that is ascribed."
So, humans create meaning, but life is inherently meaningless.
The being also says that "Death is a human construct. It does not exist. You will experience and have experienced every instance of so called life. You. Me. Him." This also relates to the idea that your consciousness is made up of everything, and we are all interconnected. "We are all instances of the same life. Separated by what you call death."

Now, let's analyze this. Once again, take all of this with a grain of salt. This is my interpretation.
Firstly, I strongly believe we are on a positive timeline, and there will be no nuclear war. Bashar and other channelers have said that no nuclear missiles / warheads will be allowed to explode. I believe extraterrestrials would intervene to prevent this.
I think there is a timeline where nuclear war does happen, but this supposed exchange between the questioner and Grey being is just an example of a timeline where this could have unfolded.
The above link is a transcript from Daniel Scranton's channeling of a Zeta / Grey being. "We are in many ways a cautionary tale to all of you." During this channeling, the Grey's do not mention nuclear war. However, they do mention not being able to reproduce, and the hybrid race is later created from human genetics. The Greys were on a parallel version of Earth, where they lost their connection with their planet Earth, and suppressed their emotions, which lead to more problems.

However, just because he says it's "authentic" it doesn't mean that we are going to experience any negative timelines. This is just a way for us to safely explore a potential negative timeline that we collectively are not on.
Remember, you create your own timeline. So, simply align yourself with the timeline of peaceful open contact with extraterrestrials.
Work on yourself; work your your belief systems that are outdated that are disempowering. “Blessings. We are Thymus. We are the collective of ascended masters.
You are transcending the old ways of the physical while remaining physical in your bodies. That means that you are seeing the physical as being a part of the spiritual, but you are also not relying solely on the physical to identify yourself as a being. You recognize that you are more than just your physical body, your physical needs, your physical desires. You can still derive physical pleasure and comfort from life and be a spiritually awake person. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
You don't have to see yourself as a hedonist or someone who renounces everything having to do with the physical, so you can go live in a cave somewhere and be super spiritual. That's because now is the time of integration. Now is the time for coming together, for bringing polarized opposites together and creating harmony with them. Be a person who is in the world, but knows that they are not of the world. Be a person who enjoys a good meal, but also knows that there is more to life than food, more to life than sex, and more to life than things that you can fill up your house with.
Live in balance with nature and technology. Live in balance in regards to what it is that you want and what it is that you know others want. Strike a balance for yourself and recognize how that serves you. You are meant to master the physical realm, not just to leave it behind completely. You have this idea of giving in to temptation, or selling your soul to the devil, so that you can have what you want. And these are ideas that supposedly people get into when they have no soul, when they have no sense of spirituality or sense of self beyond the physical realm.
You don't need those dichotomies anymore. You don't need those morality tales to make you want to be good. You recognize that you are good and that life is supposed to be good. It's supposed to be fun and joyous, and you're supposed to enjoy it with a physical body. Otherwise, you would be somewhere else. You would be floating on a cloud somewhere. And so it's time to put these ideas behind you and to recognize that you are meant to live in a world that you can enjoy physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
You don't have to choose one over all others. You are likely to be more inclined towards one, and that's okay, because you may go down a certain path for 10 or even 20 years, and then realize you want to go down a slightly different path where you explore some other aspect of life. That doesn't make you a flip-flopper. It just makes you human. It makes you a multi-dimensional, multi-faceted being, which is truly who and what you really are. It is time to let go of judgment of self and others around these choices as well.
Let everyone else off the hook, and let yourselves off the hook, and recognize that the physical realm is just as spiritual as any other aspect of life. It is made of the stuff of Source. Everything is filled with love, filled with light, and you are there to enjoy it all, not to condemn any of it, and not to condemn others for what they partake in either. Now, when you strike the balance that you want to strike in all the various aspects of your life, you will feel like a master, and it is something that everyone has, in one way or another, chosen to explore as a theme in this lifetime of ascension.

It is fascinating to us to speak to you because of the perspectives you hold in your Earth plane. We are meeting you halfway, so to speak, to connect with you because we exist in a higher and lighter density, but we do not consider ourselves to be better than all of you. It has been an easier journey for us to be where we are. You chose a harder, more challenging path, and we respect you for doing so.
Some of the challenges you have experienced involve early e.t. contact that many of you have labeled as abductions. These abductions resulted in a lot of fear coming up for a lot of human beings, and we are aware of that. And so, we seek to build a bridge and forge a new, better, and different type of connection with the humans of Earth. “Greetings. We are The Arcturian Council. We are pleased to connect with all of you.
We are enjoying very much the witnessing of your spiritual evolution, your journey through consciousness. And we know that you are embarking upon yet another journey as you enter into a new month on your calendar. You are probably wondering, what will the month of July be all about for all of us? What will be happening? What will we be experiencing as humans on this planet? You have within you a certain ability to receive and acclimate to light-encoded energies. In other words, you have a certain capacity to hold light in your bodies.
And the energies that we are sending to you at this time and throughout the month will be for assisting you in activating more of your receptors. The energies will be about helping you to handle more light, and to harbor more light, within your cells, within your bodies, your organs, your chakras, all parts of you. This is a gigantic upgrade, in other words, that we and others like us are sending to you, because we know that the timing is right for those of you who are ready to anchor in more light. You can see just by looking around at your world that more light is needed.
Now, the light will illuminate what needs to be seen. It will illuminate what has been in the dark, but the light will also heal.
The light will also forgive. The light will also attract more of you to one another who want to help. Those of you who are operating from the light want to find each other. You want to see each other lighting up, and it will be so much easier from the month of July forward.
So what is happening in this first month of the second half of 2026 is affecting the remainder of your calendar year in a very big way. You will illuminate within you more of your Christ consciousness, more of your gifts and abilities, more of your memories, more of your cross connections to other realms, other beings, and other dimensions and star systems. You are going to feel lighter. You are going to hold a lighter form, and you are going to exude that light, emanating it out for all to benefit from it.
You are going to be lightworkers in the truest sense of the word as you move forward now, and all you have to do is remain open to the energies that are coming in from our star system and other points all across the universe. All you have to do is remain grounded, hydrated, as present as you can be in the moment, and as open as you can be. Sit and open up the crown of your head.
